Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of there, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in your life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Here there is no Greek or Jew, cirumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of once body, you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

모든 걸 가십거리로 만들수 있는 정말 무섭고 가증스러운 혀.
반면 그것들을 놓고 하나님앞에 소리내어 기도를 하게 도와주는 혀.
만물의 왕이신 주께 감히 저주할수 있는 오직 유일한 혀.
그분께 가장 아름다운 감사와 찬양을 올려드릴수 있는 혀.
남을 헐뜯고, 상처주고, 욕하고, 비웃으며 저주할수 있는 혀
상처받고 쓰러져서 희망이 없는 이에게 격려할수 있는 혀
한 혀로 절대 두 말을 할수 없다. 절대 우린 두 주인을 섬길수 없듯이…
중간에 서서 어중간하게 한 혀로 너무나도 다른 두말들을 한다면 주님께로 부터 분명히 결단당할 것이다. 지금 만약 사랑과 생명의 말을 하고 있지 않고, 사망과 미움의 말을 하고 있다면 지금 확실히 결단하고 회개하자.
